Who we are
Unmaze is a collaborative workspace at https://unmaze.cloud.
The founders of Unmaze grew up in an era when privacy was treated as a basic part of using technology. We are building Unmaze with that principle in mind. We will respect the information entrusted to us, collect only what is needed to provide the service, and never sell personal data to data brokers.
Information we collect

Workspace, project, task, document, thread, and message data entered into Unmaze.

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Unmaze; authenticate users; display and synchronize information users choose to import; provide support; detect abuse and security issues; and meet legal requirements.
We do not sell personal data to data brokers.
Connected services
When you connect a third-party service, Unmaze receives only the access permitted through that service’s authorization screen. Connected-service tokens are stored securely and used to provide the requested integration.
Cookies and sessions
Unmaze uses necessary cookies to maintain authentication sessions, protect requests, and remember basic application preferences.
Who we share information with
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Unmaze, including hosting, database, authentication, monitoring, and connected-service providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect Unmaze and its users.
We do not sell personal data or provide it to data brokers for advertising or resale.
Data retention
We retain account and workspace information while your account or workspace remains active. Previously imported workspace data may remain until deleted by an authorized user or workspace administrator.
Encrypted provider tokens are retained only while needed to maintain an active connection.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including access controls, server-side secret handling, encrypted provider tokens, and workspace-level access controls.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information.
